i installed wmp 11 on a windows xp professional pc and when i open the wmp, the following message appear " T<span style="font-weight: normal;">HE VOLUME POR A FILE HAD BEEN EXTERNALY MODIFIED THEN THE FILE OPENED IS NOT LONGER VALID" . Would some one help me please to solve this problem? Many thanks in advance

Is there a code Error Ox800703EE ?

There is no specific cure for this one as I read others like http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883518

You may have stumbled into a new issue but my bet is this OS has been hit with registry cleaners.
