I dropped hints about more information is required and it's up to you to tell us something about every item the wifi needs to work. You don't have to tell us the actual SSID but do tell if it's so long and hidden. Keep going.

Also, NORTON and other security does this when they expire. Keep writing.

That looks like a fairly new model and if you downgraded to XP, then it's possible the wireless driver is not quite up to snuff.. You mention that you have WPA2-AES running on the home router.. Many hotel, coffee shops, etc. use WPA instead of WPA2 because there are old machines which don't support it and they want to allow all their guests to use their service.. The wireless adapter driver you have installed on the computer may be creating the problem on your home connection because it can't hook up due to increased security..

So try updating the driver on the computer's wireless adapter to see if it fixes the issue.. If not, try reducing the security on your home router to WPA.
