'Scrap Object' removal help please

Can anyone help me to remove an icon from my desktop? It is entitled "Scrap Object" and has an .shs extension. When I attempt to consign it to the Recycle Bin or delete it I get a pop-up saying some other program(s) is using it and deletion won't be allowed. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I got this 'thing' when I pressed 'Prt sc(reen)', pasted it to a Wordpad doc and then tried to cut and paste the text back into a reply on that same forum.

My OS is Windows XP V.2002 Home Edition.

Try MoveOnBoot utility. Ill point to the first thread where the MoveOnBoot was posted.

You'll have to log off and back on, or restart your machine, then you'll be able to delete this file.
