Windows XP forum: Audio driver install

Audio driver install

In the systems hardware section I have about 7 yellow question marks. I have just installed windows xp pro and having problems with audio which I have the driver download from toshiba an also the usb ports which don,t work but have a list from microsoft to try and re install them.
could someone tell me how to get the audio drivers to install and how to proceed with section of yellow question marks?

toshiba laptop a100 s1013 windows xp pro
did not have orig install cd so have installed above system after clearing hard drive. all seems to work except the two items mentioned and I see that sp1 had the usb install?

This may require Microsoft's MSUAA to get the audio to work. Did you try that?

Hint: google XP MSUAA

that seems to be for a problem on HP
this is a Toshiba and not having problems with not recog. the hard drive.

Not a HP problem.

XP knows nothing about SATA HDDs. Since there are some million posts on that now, I think you know what to do next.

The usual workarounds are to use the OS the machine came with or see if the prior fixes and workarounds work.

If it's the usual issue you see the install routine where we get an INSTALL PLAN together and follow it.

Can you share your INSTALL PLAN so others can see where it went wrong?
