Any way to control where windows XP stores its Cookies via

I can use Tools then Internet Options then Settings to see the my Temp Inet Files for my XP is stored at let's say
"C:\Documents and Settings\HP_administrator\Local Settings\Temp Inet Files\" and I can change this to most any location.
My question is it possible to change this directory via software?
In other words I want to load up lets say one copy of Firefox and do something that will place a cookie on the hard drive in the Temp Inet File area... as it normally does...
Then I want the progam to tell the system the Temp Inet File has moved so that when I load up another copy of firefox in a different window that cookie will go to a different location since the Temp Inet Location has moved....
Then as the software moves the location of the TIN and then calls up that firefox that was using that directory..... and back and forth.. in an attempt to have two versiions of firefox having the same site loaded twice with different cookies...
Is this possible.... or is it possible to save a cookie and then replace it back in the inet temp file location at some slightly later time...
Thanks....
