Get Rid of Internet Explorer

First of all, I didn't offically get rid of it, I just did a few things so that it will never start up again, no matter how hard you try. Here's how I did it: Click start, go to run, type in regedit. BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG! BE SURE YOU HAVE FIREFOX OR MOZILLA OR ANOTHER WEB BROWSER! THIS PERMANENTLY DISABLES INTERNET EXPLORER! Find the keys in: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT that start with Internet Explorer. Next in HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE go to Microsoft then Internet Explorer and delete the key Internet Explorer. Now after that restart the computer and go into Safe Mode with Command Prompt. (Press F8 before it goes to the loading of Windows XP screen) Now log in as Administrator then navigate like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>cd \
C:\>cd Program Files
C:\>cd "Program Files"
C:\Program Files>rename "Internet Explorer" "Old Internet Browser"
In place of Old Internet Browser put whatever name you want. Or if you dare to, delete it. Now restart your computer as normal. It will take about 5 minutes once you log in to load up because it can't find Explorers second part, Internet Explorer. Now just use your brand new browser.
