Windows XP forum: New Error Message

New Error Message

Recently I installed sp2 on my xp pro machine and I started getting these errors when I boot: 1) the instruction at "xxx" referenced memory at "xxx". The memory could not be "written". 2) To help protect your computer, windows has closed this program: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services. I do have Zone alarm pro and IIS installed and running on my machine but they were both running fine before I installed sp2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that error shoes at startup, you'll have to isolate the culprit.
