Can you explain more about "logon to the internet using IE7"? It's an unusual way of saying it.
For example, if you have a dial-up internet connection, the modem has to connect to the internet before you can start surfing. You can either connect manually using your Dial-Up Connection, or you can tell Internet Explorer to connect as soon as you open IE. I suppose that could be called logging on, but you are only connecting to your ISP and not to the internet.
Another example is a broadband connection. Typically, this is 'always on', as soon as the computer is turned on. Logging on is automatic, and then when you are ready, you open IE and start surfing.
I ask because there is a reference to "Parameters Incorrect" at Microsoft, but it is an old Knowledge Based article referring to IE4 and lower. It talks about connecting to web sites that are in a different language than the one that Windows is set up for. For your information, the KB article is here;
So, when you are logging on, are you visiting a non-standard language site? By non-standard I mean one that your OS is not set up for, eg if your main language is English, anything else.
