MARK HELP ! File Structure - Could this be my problem ?
I don't mean to cut into this thread BUT --- I used Windows Explorer to look at my file structure as you did here. I did a post on 11/1/08 in your Windows XP forum yesterday titled ""Path/File Access Error when executing a File that I Dloaded" and I am searching for an answer. I am currently looking at an article you refered someone to on 'taking ownership', 'file paths', anything I can to to solve my problem.
Can you please take a look at MY File Structure in this screen shot just in case that's the problem ? I would think that My Desktop should NOT be at the top of the structure as it is here .. but I don't know. I do run as the Administrator but get the 'path/file access error' when I try to run ONE *.exe file only (that of course I really want).
Again - sorry if I barged in here but I am desperate. I will start a thread about this in case is can help someone else.
You helped me once before and it worked so I coem to thsi forum all the time and don't even usually need to post becaue the answer is right there.
Can you (or ANY kind sould) please take at my screen shot for me and advise:
