How to run a command on XP machine after RD connection

I want to run a command immediately after (or before) a user connects to my XP machine through remote desktop. Please note that the user is already logged in on the desktop. After connecting through remote desktop, he just sees his previous session.

Since this is not a "new" login, none of the "run script after logon" settings seem to work. I went through gpedit.msc and Terminal server registry settings that I could find. But none seemed to work. I am sure, I am missing something.
