I share wireless connection with my landlady

we split the cost and we use a router on her puter and I bought a Belkin Adapter for my pc. It all works excellent. Her email is of course with the IP. Mine on the other hand has to be an "internet mail" so I chose gmail. My question is this. Can I have my gmail come through my Outlook Express Software program? I like Outlook and am used to it. My OS info below and I use IE for my browser:

MS Win XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Computer:
AMD Sempron(tm)Processor
3100+
1.81 GHz, 480 MB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

Thank you much, denise:) I did look through the archives because i thought I had asked a similar question before. I couldn't find anything specific to this.
