Win XP System Restore: Delete individual restore points
by Evzilla - 5/18/08 3:57 PM
I've seen many threads about System Restore, but I'd like some help with these questions. System: Win XP Home, 200 GB SATA system drive (C:=190 GB system, D:=5 GB recovery partition), G: 300 GB EIDE data drive. System Restore is active on C:, D:, and G:.
1. If I turn off SR on the G: drive, will that delete all of my restore points?
2. If I delete individual restore points on C:, do I need to delete then on D: and G: also?
3. Do the lists of restore points on C:, D:, and G: need to show the same restore points? Currently C: has some not shown on D: and G:.
