2 Users one Computer on Windows XP

My father would like to set his computer up to do this:

He wants to add a second video card so that he could have two monitors, one for him to use and one for mother.

He wants to add a second set of keyboards and mice for mother to use.

He wants to do this so it will allow him and mother to work on the computer at the same time (ie different programs) with out having to buy a second computer.

Has anybody seen this be able to be done with Windows XP? I know it can be done with Linux.

Microsoft has a way, "Terminal Services"

For example, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278502 Now use any old PC and connect it via eithernet to the host "terminal server".

I bet you want to do without the old PC, but for Windows this is how it's done.

Using a Reverse KVM Switch

Just in case Dad does not want to have another computer to mess with.
How about a
Reverse KVM Switch

Most people find one computer is more then enough frustation why make him put up with two?

At only $63 it seems like a better choice if he does not want another computer.

So this effectively allows you to have 2 users on one computer? So Dad could surf the internet and mom could do her accounting on Excel?
