Re:Why my computer always hang?
You didn't mention any specifics about your system (like memory or processor) but I have heard this complaint from users of brand new systems too.
First off MEMORY is one big cause. I don't care how much u have installed, if you have too many programs running on startup you will find the memory getting used pretty fast.
If you are comfortable modifying your MSCONFIG entries (type this command on RUN and you will see the list of programs all wanting to load being ticked
off in tiny boxes. You decide which programs you want
to run and leave them ticked. I find a lot of useless entries here.
Another reason can be your registry is too full of old entries. Use a good program like REGCLEANER to help with this.
Lastly, when did u last do a defrag on the drive?
I'm surprised by how many users neglect this.
Check into two excellent products (available for trial as well) Diskeeper or Voptme - the last one can be downloaded at Goldenbow.com and it is the fastest
defragger I have ever seen. Also it has some tools that might improve the registry and memory problems.
Write me if this helps.
