Windows XP forum: printer handle is not valid

printer handle is not valid

I have moved my lexmark x1100 all in one to another pc I am now getting the message 'the handle is invalid ' what does this mean and how do I fix it? Thanks

Or you forget to install the printer drivers.

I was not happy to find Winfixer noted when I used google about the error message, your lexmark and XP.

Just to be sure, scan the machine with EWIDO and HOUSECALL. If you find Winfixer, here's a noted tool.

I did install the drivers I have ewido I will run it but I dont think it is a virus or malware I'll post back.

In closing, given only your machine's details (slim to none) I can't comment if other drivers are needed such as motherboard or USB.

I ran ewido all it found was cookies which I deleted, I'me beggining to think its an install problem. I am on windows xp pro cpu 3000mhz memory 750mb.
