Spoolsv.exe is taking more than 50% of my CPU usage

I am having performance problems with my computer running windows XP. Checking the Task Manager I always find that the process Spoolsv.exe is taking more than 50% of the CPU usage. I tryed swapping the file with one from another computer that is working properly, but the problem persists. What can I do to fix this problem??
