Will a 108 Mbps-G Wireless PC Card receive faster?

Hi,

I have a 54Mbps-G and it is working fine.
Will it recieve faster If I change a 108Mbps card?
Please help. Is there any web link on this topic?.

Do you have an Internet connection that is faster than 54Mbps? Or are you doing LAN transfers of large files between two systems. Either both of them being connected via 108Mbps wifi cards and a 108Mbps compatible router or everything before, except one of the systems is using 100/1000Mbps ethernet.

If so, then yes. Otherwise, no. Transfer rates are only as fast as the slowest link.
