Finding directcd driver (to eliminate)

I'm sorry to keep bothering everyone here but you've been so helpful (and hey, it's free). After installing XP-Pro, I installed Easy CD Creator 5 and upon bootup XP tells me there is a conflict with the directcd drive and it is disabling it. I have since found out I need to update or eliminate version 5 (I've chose to eliminate it, XP works well) but I still get the error when I boot stating XP has not loaded directcd. Where can I find the directcd drive to eliminate it.

Easy CD 5.x will work with XP if you upgrade it to the latest version 5.3.5.

Just a guess- take a look at msconfig>Sartup, and see if there's a reference to DirectCD, then uncheck it and reboot. Also look for a a file called DirectCD.exe and delete it. I doubt any files left behind will have a terrible effect on your system.
