Getting Msimn mesasge in one of my email accounts

I am running Windows ME..one of the 6
email accounts I have is giving me the following
message

MSIMN has caused an error in DIRECTDB.DLL
MSIMN will now close.
If you continue experiencing this problem
try restarting your computer.

I have tried several times and I still get this
message when I try to delete an email in this
one account.

It is also telling me that outlook express did not
shut down properly after I do a restart.

any help would be appreciated

MSIMN Don't know it it's related but when I try to switch from one mailbox to another it sometimes hangs. Control-Alt-Del. Brings up list. Look for MSIMN. Click "end task" It takes a few moments but another pane appears. Click "end task" in this pane. That might at least get around the "improper shutdown".

msimn.exe is the executable for Microsoft Outlook Express, the default POP3 email application included with Microsoft Windows. This process should not be removed while you have Outlook Express open.

the error message

I just had that problem along with another one. It started happening after I had deleted some other programs trying to free up some space. Anyway, go to Microsoft Outlook Express website and search for error messages. You will find that one on the second page or so. They had a warning however that says that if you fix it is may in fact cause other problems. So, just read it and see. Anyway, what I did is go to add/remove programs and then to "windows setup" I just reinstalled all of the programs I has deleted and the problem fix itself somehow. Good luck
