drives running in ms-dos

he all, i keep getting this message: drive x is using comp.mode file system.
compatibility mode paging reduces overall performance.
help please i have no idea what this is and how to change it. if you can help please do step by step i new to all this. thanks you guys are life savors.
mispie oh i use win.me and have 2 hard drives
