Encrypted jpeg files on windows me

I have some jpeg files that were encrypted through file manager / windows explorer on Windows ME. The process also used a password

I have the password but need a utility to decrypt / view the files

Any ideas ?

Sorry this was not a stock feature of this OS. You'll have to get all the details out in the open for folk to look into this.

Again, not a Windows feature so which of the 1,000 solutions did they use?

From what I can remember the computer was a Packard Bell running Windows ME, no additional encryption was added unless by Packard Bell

The files, as well as having the .jpeg extension also have '.Encrypted' added by the program.ie filename.jpeg.Encrypted

Files were encrypted / un encrypted by right clicking on the file and you were asked to enter a password

And found no title that matched. This leaves us to think it's one of the thousand encryption softwares over the past decade.

Maybe http://www.drivesavers.com folk have encountered this?

And PLEASE CROSS POST this into the more active CNET Computer Help forum so others can see if they know this one. I only know the usual and what was in the OS at the time.
