Keyboard and mouse troubles

I recently installed a Medion wireless keyboard and mouse.(not by choice incidentally, my wired one got broken by a child and this was all I had!)

Don't know if that's the cause of my problem, but here it is;

The mouse frequently 'sticks' or in other words, stops working. frantic clicking is needed to get it going again.

More alarmingly, often when I type some letters, the screen scrolls up or down a few lines, or the right click pop up window appears.

Any ideas? Please not a virus!

Try a wired keyboard and mouse.

Besides low batteries, other RF devices can interfere with wireless components.

I run into your issue and sometimes can cure it with fresh batteries and moving the RF receiver closer to the mouse and keyboard. But it's not flawless from all makers so I always try the wired connection to be sure.

I have now got a new keyboard.

didn't take long, eh? A logitech with a PS-2 connection. have also reconnected my old ps-2 mouse, which works far better.

I assume that wireless technology generally works much better than this, otherwise no one would stand for it!

However since connecting it, though everything else seems to be fine, I can't get images on the internet! i can't even post 'smileys' in internet forums that allow them!

On fact, the 'submit' button on this page is invisible, and I can only post this by hoping that i click on it accidently!
