DELL AXIM X30 SD Card Problems

I'm a handheld newbie. My Dell Axim X30 will not recognize the SD card when inserted into the slot. How do i get it to work. The external storage card tab is greyed out. Please help

I have the same Problem - looking for help

I just bought a SD card and inserted into my Axim X3 - it never identified the card.

So, I took the card out and put it into a friends axim x3 - and it recongnized the card.

I have tried to clean out the slot with an air can, did a copule of warm resets - but nothign works.

ANy suggestions would help.

SANDISK 512

Is not recognized by Averatek 3200 when placed in card reader by ... SANDISK. None of tehe drives will show up in "my computer", no LED turns on on the card reader, card is not accessed.

I got tired of searching and searching the internet so I took apart my X3I and I noticed that 2 of the prongs in the card accepter had been bent so I bent them back and put the sd card back in btw its a 2GB sd card and it recognized it.If you wish to do the same take the rubber feet out of each of the four corners and inside each hole there is a screw after all four screws have been taken out pop the back plate of and you will be able to see the sd card accepter inside I suggest putting the sd card in so you do not over bend the prongs best of luck. JOSH
