OK, maybe not "great", but I love how it synchs to the desktop and I don't have to use Outlook.

The dependency on Outlook has been eliminated, though one of the newer trends is to not provide desktop syncing options by default. In the case of the Palm Pre and Pixi, you'd need to purchase a third-party application as noted on Palm's product page. In other cases, such as Windows Mobile, Outlook syncing is provided by default but you can choose a third-party application as well. Regardless, you can typically sync with Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Palm Desktop, Lotus Notes, and more regardless of which device or OS you choose.

Thanks John, that is really helpful. One thing the Palm rep told me is that the "memo" function won't synch to the desktop anymore which is dissapointing. He said I can only see it on the handheld.
