Looking 4 PDA that can Mark Texts as Unread & Apply Alarms

Does this exist? I use Sprint, and would like to continue doing so.
Again, the question is:
Is there a PDA that allows you to receive a text message, look at it, and then *mark it as Unread, put it in a folder, and set an alarm or a reminder?* (If not, someone really needs to get on this!) =)
I'm about to upgrade my phone (currently using a Sayno Katana DLX, which is quite a nice phone for just a phone...) to a PDA of some sort, but I am just starting to do some research.
I'm also an Ubuntu user on my laptop, and am really hoping there might be a Ubuntu-mobile version (since they're built into many netbooks now) on a phone so I could Sync my Evolution. Then I could have access to my 4 different gmail accts, calendars, tasks, and memos, without having to login and out all the time.
Other things I want in my phone:
typing a text msg without _losing_ all the text by hitting a random button (not sure if this is just my phone being old and glitchy, or the software being dumb)
the ability to actually REPLY to an email, and not have the cursor accidentally enter the text of the reply immediately
i do use GPS navigation, but I DON'T do games, music or tv really
i do like to be able to watch videos online though - I would love something that can use Flash
other things about me: I'm a mom to a toddler, and I have food allergies, so being able to use a decent shopping list program (i.e. Grocery Gadget) would be really nice.
oh, and I'm a daily bicyclist too - so I will likely use a bluetooth headset to talk while biking.
Any tips, experts???
