I have a new Windows 7 system and bought Office 2007.
But it doesn't have Outlook and Outlook no longer exists.
So I installed my Palm Desktop 6.2 contact software despite
my Palm Z22 being broken. It worked great for a week while
I entered all my data. Now that it's in, Palm Desktop has
stopped showing all the apps except for INSTALL as if to say,
"Now plug in a Palm PDA or adios, data." That said, you can't
even walk into a store and buy a Z22 anymore, so other than
ebay options I'm pretty hosed. Am I missing something or have
I summed up a fairly crappy situation? At this point I'd
settle for getting the data back and flushing the software.

Outlook Express no longer exists. Now, the stripped Outlook - without Business Contact Manager - costs $110 at Best Buy.

So now there is no secret where the data files are. You could wipe out the Palm desktop and reinstall that and restore the data files in a flash. Then if that works you export the data. Sorry but I can't write a step by step. I'm only an author of some PalmOS apps so I can symp with you I stop short of step by steps.
