Omnia Qwerty (B7610) SIM card shutdown

Hello,

I am a proud owner of the Samsung Omnia Qwerty B7610 Pro....
I like this smartphone a lot.
I only have 1 problem, when the phone is not doing anything for like a hour and i unlock it, it disconnects my simcard wich results in reconneting the telephone (within WM6.5).
But sometimes it runs smoothly for like a night.

I find this disturbing because i need to be available 24/7

Settings wich i configured:
-Batterysupply (batterijvoeding in dutch) Alway's leave the device on, even during inactivity.
-Externalbattery supply Alway's leave the device on, even during inactivity.

The simcard within the phone is not the simcard wich it came with, the same card that is in it now (T-mobile) is from my previous abo, wich ends in March and then i can put in my new simcard.

I am sorry for my English happy

I hope for a quick answer/solution..

Just a couple thoughts...

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with that problem with the Omnia, so I cannot offer a specific solution, something I was hoping another may be able to provide. Thus, I have three initial thoughts:

1.) Backup your data and try a hard reset of the device, resetting it to its original state. Although unlikely, an installed program, or possibly even a random glitch, may have caused it.

2.) Check with both your service provider and Samsung to see if they have a ROM update available to patch any known issues with the B7610. It's quite likely that all the kinks have yet to be worked out.

3.) Ask your provider for a replacement SIM card,, with a clone of your currently-stored info, as the card itself may be damaged/defective.
