Jordan maps-GPS

Hello,

I'm in the market for a handheld GPS and will be hiking in Jordan (and possibly other countries in the Middle East). I'd also like a map of Amman. Does anyone know of available maps and software that will run them?

i m a student in translation and terminology i'm looking for a manual, user guilds, or something else concerned the GPS using (in Arabic language) and i m so interested about it because i m searching in terms of this topic .

There is a comany called InsideJo They provide Free maps and directions of all Jordan, I found a review at http://ralphtips.blogspot.com/2009/07/new-gps-navigation-in-jordan.html

Hello, Just wanted to add an update to the New GPS In Jordan, They delayed the Device till 2010 instead of July 2009 I added the updates
