GarageBand - PC substitute?

For weeks I (a PC user...) have been reading rave reviews of GarageBand 2.0 (part of Apple's iLive suite) -oh how I'd love to have it ;-)! For equally long I've been desperately looking for similar software for my Windows PC -with no success :-(!
Is there anything like a "GarageBand for Windows" out there?

I think the closest to GarageBand for the PC is Mixcraft from Acoustica the interface is almost identical and you can even use GarageBand loops in it check out the review here:
