PC utilities forum: Wordpad Question?

I'm embarassed to admit that I cannot find a solution to your problem. My wordpad runs in single spacing, and I cannot find the option to double space it.

My only suggestion to you, is to press shift-enter at the end of each line. It should bring you down a single line rather than two.

I'm terribly sorry I couldn't find the option.

My Wordpad starts double spacing for no reason I've been able to figure out. Often in the middle of a document it just all of a sudden starts to double space every time I hit the Enter key. It SUX! And worst of all is that I can't get it to stop. I tried Ctrl+1 and that didn't solve the problem, but holding shift and hitting Enter does cause it to single space. It still sux, and WHY does it start double spacing to begin with???

To Set single spacing press Ctrl+1.
To set double spacing press Ctrl+2.

I think much of it applies to other Word versions too.

Microsoft Wordpad programs are simply scaled-down free versions of the Mocrosoft Word word processor. Some features cross-over while some do not. In either case the user is left to search the help files or the Net. And it's often necessary to conduct trial and error as the help files or instructions obviousely leave much to be desired.

If you know of a good tutorial for the various versions of Wordpad or Word I'm sure many fellow boarders including myself would appreciate a heads-up.
