Any good duplicate finders?

A friend has an old computer that he wants to get rid of but wants to save files first. He suspects that he has a lot of duplicates so would like to weed those out first. Any recommendations? Free preferable but not mandatory. Thanks for any suggestions.

BUT it's up to the user to make that final call to press the delete button. I've lost count of folk that use these without backup copies of their files then after the cleanup they can't find the files since it's off in some folder they forgot about.
