Do happen to remember where you saw this ad? Was it on Download.com?
I just need some clarification.
When you went to the page, you had accidentally clicked on a CNET advertisement that caused you this issue?
The ad was specifically for "SpeedyPC"?
Can give the specific link that you saw this ad?
Once I get some detail from you, I will take it up with the ad team and notify the appropriate party about this.

I cannot give you the specific link but it shouldn't be too difficult for you guys to figure out since it was on your site and you collected a fee for the ad. .
Thanks so much for your response and interest in this matter. It cost me $114.00 to get my laptop back operating. That doesn't count the time and effort involved in restoring my data and programs.

It's not that simple as we have hundreds of ads and different ones, and hundreds of CNET pages. The "SpeedyPC" will be difficult to track down.
Without much details, it is difficult to investigate.
Was this a banner ad (wide ad with graphics)? Or was it a text link?
Was it on CNET Download.com? Or somewhere else on our site?
To give you an idea take a look at this search results page when I entered Speedy PC:

Would it be any of these ads--please look at the text links with anyone of them referring to:
"SpeedyPC Exposed?"
"Speed Your PC"
was it one of those?

"SafeCart" is that the companies name?
Can you provide links or anything specific to your claim? Without specific details, it a long shot that our ad team can track down who specifically it is that they need to remove.
