Make a Setup Package using an already-existing SFX file

Is there a way to create a setup package using an already existing SFX file?

I made a large and highly compressed SFX file using WinUHA and unless I
can find a way to customize a setup package creator to use my WinUHA
compression settings I need to find a way to make a setup run this SFX
file.

Tl;dr: I don't like the aesthetic of the WinUHA extractor and I want to
be able to create shortcuts to some of the files that are extracted.
What do?

But let's take the lead here and ASSUME you are a programmer and YOUR APP is in there.

Let's say you want to place shortcuts and such as you asked.

WHY NOT put code in your app that checks to see if this is the first run and asks the user if they want to create them?
