Incompatibility: Chrome with Online Armor with HIPS Firewal?

My system: Dell Dimension PC running Win XP with Serv. Pk. 3, Security: MSE, and Online Armor with HIPS Firewall. My PC came bundled with MS IE, I upgraded to IE 8 and button it very tightly with supreme security settings. Browser: Iron, a spin off of Chrome, Don't let that confuse you,pretend I have Chrome, level 14 now--I update in lockstep with Chrome updates.
QUESTION: I read a review in Wilders Security which presented the information that Chrome and Online Armor/HIPS (OA) are incompatible. The writer suggested OA slows down Chrome. Is that a right or a wrong idea,please?
I am generally pleased with OA and MSE and Iron. If OA slows Iron or Chrome,I want to fire it. Then I need a firewall pretty close to OA: Free, two way firewall, with HIPS, really friendly for Idiots
(no offence i am tech challenged!) and it does not slow system or weigh too much.
Summamry: say whether OA conflicts with Chrome, if OA conflicts, select a freeware firewall a lot similar. If you present two or three or four candidates,I can read reviews and just try them out.

that Wilder's Security review link?

I don't see why any browser would be specifically affected by a firewall other than normal data checking, so it would be helpful to see what they have said.

"As far as I know only if you are using Online Armor as your firewall/hips. The incompatibility is with OA, not Chrome or SB. For example, Chrome and SB work just fine together in Outpost without having to add anything to any program's exclusions."

I think you have to read this in context with the rest of the discussion.

Chrome employs a "Sandbox" which effectively isolates Chrome tabs from each other and from the rest of the OS. It is said to be a very effective method of 'reducing' the risks of drive by malware infection when visiting suspicious web sites.

Computerworld - Google's $20,000 was as safe at Pwn2Own Wednesday as if it had been in the bank.

The search giant had promised to pay $20,000 to the first researcher who broke into Chrome on the hacking contest's opening day.

But no one took up Google's offer.

So, if you need to exclude Google's Chrome from OA's firewall the browser is still considered safe.

Hi Mark, you are too kind. I apologize that it was such labor. I tried to figure out how to make a link, sorry!Yes,despite VUPEN, no one has managed to crack the sandbox of Chrome. Google engineers deny Chrome hack exploited browser's code ...www.computerworld.com? Security. QUESTION: I believe you are suggestion that i can exclude Chrome from Online Armor, through configuring OA. Is that correct? Advise. If you concur, I am not sure how to do that, but I recall that OA has exclusions. Is that your suggestion? Considerations: I have Iron(Chrome) very adapted to my needs,and OA is superb security. Should i just exclude Chrome from OA? Thanks a lot and my apologies.
