BEWARE of CHEATS - Case Study DRIVER GENIUS PRO 10

by maanojrakhit - 8/5/11 7:51 PM

The following tests were carried out immediately after purchasing the product. Report with complete evidence in form of screenshots were submitted to the company. As of writing this note 20 hours have passed but no acknowledgment, no response from the company. Details provided below are self-explanatory.

REPORT TO DRIVER-SOFT

O/S: Windows 7
Restart: computer was restarted after driver updates were completed
Device Manager: was checked for latest driver details only after restart

The following results BETRAY my TRUST in Driver Genius.

Image 01 - Scan reveals 9 Critical drivers in 5 categories need update.
Image 02 - Driver Genius downloads and installs drivers it wants.
Image 03 - After installation new scan reports No drivers available for update.

This means all 9 drivers in 5 categories have been successfully updated.
Now, its the time to verify what Driver Genius has really done.

So, let's go over it systematically.
