Do you Know how to fix this?

Hello I've been getting an Error Code 00000646, whenever I try to install the automatic updates on my PC. It's been happening since about February. I've tried everything, virus scans, disk optimizing and defragmenting, but this code is still here.Does anyone know what this code means?

I have an Emachine that runs Vista Service Pack 2. I think the code is in reference to some updates concerning Microsoft Power Point or Microsoft Word, but I'm not sure.
