limewire questions

I recently downloaded the newest version of LimeWire, and installed it, ran it, and it will not connect to their "network" i AM on the internet, my connections are fine, but i have tried restarting the program, computer and turning off Win firewall, but it will not connect.

any tips?

Hi there, I'm a complete beginner at Limewire---just downloaded it yesterday, but someone told me that I may have connection problems if I'm on a network with a router. Supposedly the answer is to use "portforward", but I got totally lost reading the instructions on www.portforward.com, so I can't be of any real help. That MAY be the problem, however. Is there any online help from Limewire?

My LimeWire question is: Once you have completely uninstalled the damned software off your computer, including ALL the files... does LimeWire still work? Like, will people still be filesharing off your computer every time you go on the Internet?

its better off not to use file-sharing applications like limewire,bear-share,morpheus,etc.
i am sure lots of people must have told u this.listen to them.
