Smiley Central is known for bundling adware/spyware with their downloads, so it's best to avoid them. Most e-mail and chat programs have their own smilies available, so you might want to investgate the included options before expanding into third-party downloads.

Okay, the moderators want me to keep it clean and up and up, fine!

When I purchased this computer I am on right now Summer of 2003, one of the first things I did was to Download "My Mail Stationery" which was only able to work with Outlook Expess. Today is October 3 2006 9 PM CST and I just got rid of all the Malware that was installed by the "MyMailStationerySetup.exe" that was included but not mentioned.

This brought the Total Malwares on my system todate of 15, with all of these "CLEANED" by XOFTSPY or NOD32 which are the best in the business. However, ALL of the remaining Categorys in Virus and Spyware that you can think of, I also own a current copy for calendar year 2006 found Zero but cost me several hundreds of dollars in renewals annually.

I made a request to each of their "Technical Departments" for assistance with each telling me to run "HiJack This" without any further steps.

I have also set all of the references to all of these Helper Objects "URL's" for Email, Browser, IM and ECT to Restricted Status; which is everything on "Disabled" under "Internet Options" and you should too!

I hope this will help those who revisit here and those who come in here for the very first time.

Who is to say that anything is safe to install on any PC even if that Object Download is scanned by everything known to mankind, it still could become a threat to a Hacker! The best thing that I can reference for all of you is to do your business where you have been the most satisfied with results and the "Check-Out-Process" and scan "EvErYtHiNg" before you install it, too!
