E-Book DRM

Hello,

I have a question that I think this is a good place to ask from what I have to see. I am new to eBook's and e-readers. My wife and I have a Pocketbook e-reader to read Russian e-books primarily and some English books at times.

The problem we have is DRM how can I remove it from e-books I purchase and download? I am not intimidated by technologHy and not looking to pilfer e-books. But at sixty one do not need this inconvenience of DRM in e-books.

The two formats of e-books that are to our liking are EPUB and PDF. Can you give us any help and direction? On removing DRM from the e-book and second if needed make them open EPUD or PDF files? Free software or purchased software.

Look at this forum policies and you find we can't discuss DRM removal.

Not surprising since this is a forum hosted by CBS.
