Remove The Virus/Malware !
But first, how do you know that your computer is sending the emails? Many times, the "senders" email address is spoofed from another computer that has your address on it.. In other words, one of your friend's computers may be infected, not yours, and it's attaching YOUR name in the "Sender" line.. As such, the friend's computer may have many of the same contacts as you do....and they are receiving messages which only appear to be from you..
Which antivirus/antispyware scanner have you used to determine that your computer is infected? If you haven't already, please make sure about the infection by downloading, installing, updating, then running a full system scan using BOTH tools below. They're both FREE and should work well for you.. It will take a while to perform the scans, but it's worth knowing for sure.
Hope this helps and let us know more.
