My call to Microsoft went to a hacker!

I was having an issue with a Microsoft product to I called the technicians hot line listed on their web page....only to discover, way too late, that somehow the call had been sent to a hacker.

Long story short, I let them in to my computer before I discovered they were a fraud. Now they have changed my password to get into my computer.

Microsoft said that the only thing I could do was re-install Windows 7, but I would lose everything I had in the process.

I know Microsoft knows how to help me reset the password, and I understand for security reasons why they won't, but where do I go from here? Is there any other way to get back into my computer without wiping it out completely?

Just a password issue? Why not use NTPASSWD?

It's over at http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ and in less than 5 minutes I have reset thousands of passwords for free. Some push back at the concept of free simple resets so if they want to pay, I send them to lostpassword.com
