Am I loosing my mind?

Anyway I downloaded Hitman Pro. It found some stuff and I deleted them. I restarted the computer and it displayed a black screen with white text that said Hitman Pro by Surfright. I thought this is always going to be there so I uninstalled. I reinstalled just to see I got the junk off and then I restarted the computer and no screen came up that said anything. It booted up normally. Is that message on a first run thing and then it won't display it anymore. Why did I see that message and why am I not seeing it anymore? Thank you.

Weren't you asked to restart by Hitman PRO?
Probably it deleted the malware and/or repaired the system on reboot, i.e., it started just before Windows did, hence the screen you saw.

This will happen again if it finds stuff that needs to be deleted on reboot.
