BROWSERS HAVE DIFFERENT DOWNLOAD SPEEDS

I have a 50mgps pipe. i run WE8 on all machines and use speedtest.net and show 63 down. My main machine was showing the same download speed.
Suddenly i am down to 20. i have run every imagineable scanner. updated from IE7 to IE8... looked at addins etc.
Chrome still shows 63... something has hooked into IE. I cannot find it. Anybody have a clue as to what it is and how the xxxx i can get it off

It's not a sign of any problem at all. Unless folk can't wrap their head around the idea that different programmers and companies have different goals.
