New laptop firewall and antivirus

Just bought new laptop with windows 7.Came with McAffee.I would like to replace McAfee with windows firewall and AVG13 free.I do have SpywareBlaster installed and scan with Malwarebytes.
Any input is welcome. McAfee runs out in about 4 days
so I need to make a move.Fish

From http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331 it seems that for Windows 7 the usual uninstall via Control Panel is enough.

Are you doing things safely or are you expecting this protection to work even if you install torrents and crack software?

Security software

Whether what you have in mind is sufficient or not depends on how you use the system, so maybe-maybe not. There are so many opinions on what to use for A/V software the discussion could go on and on. The free stuff is OK to a point, again, depending on how you use the system online. Another poster mentioned "TORRENTS" uhhhhhh, if you do use them you want your security pretty heavy duty and that, in my opinion, would preclude many and most freebie softwares.

Fish, I have been Comodo Internet Security

Has both Firewall and Antivirus. There was some minor changes on the toolbar icon. Right click it and Sandbox Security Level I disabled and Defense+ Level I selected Training Mode. I bought Comdo Internet Security Pro 2012 and I have the free Geek Buddy. ne the free one It ahs at the bottom custom install, When I had that, I unchecked Geek Buddy and Comodo Dragon. Darrell
