Task Manager Virus?

I have a new acer aspire and the task manager comes up but there's no tabs anymore- someone said it's a virus. I have avast and malwarebytes scan it but it doesn't show as detected or fixed. Any help is always appreciated!

Clarification request: Did you try double clicking on that Task Manager.

Chances are if it were virus-related, you wouldn't be able to access the Task Manager at all. No less the tabs.

I'm with Bob. It's probably running in Tiny Footprint Mode and only needs a double-click on the border, in order to get back to the normal display mode.

IF it's not the case, let us know if you're experiencing any other problems or "symptoms".

Anyhow, I had some tech support checking my service out remotely and he said I had a virus because he couldn't figure that out.
