Spyware, viruses, & security forum: Trojan from npdor.com

Did you check the report (or log) Kaspersky generates? Where it indicates the path where it was located? I don't know which version you're using, but I believe they all do include one. Did you receive a clean report after rolling back the system and re-scanning?

Just a few things to keep in mind....

It seems as though you didn't fall into this trap, otherwise you wouldn't be posting here. But I'd like to stress it nonetheless.

Unless you're 100% sure of the site you're visiting, or are using a safe browsing tool such as Web of Trust (WOT), I would steer clear of any removal tool offerings. To include following removal guides from sites you're not sure of. A good deal of them are untrustworthy.

I would avoid clicking on any ads. No less providing my email address, or any other pertinent information. Especially those related to surveys. See "The Real Deal About Online Survey Scams"

I'm not looking to add insult to injury. But only trying to prevent problems for you in the future.

In the meantime you might want to check Kaspersky's report. It should indicate where it was supposed to be located. After cleaning your temp files, I would still recommend scanning with the above mentioned tools. You may want to add ESET's (free) Online Scanner to the list. Their FAQ and Help sections should answer any questions you might have. It may be over-kill but at least it should give you peace of mind.
