Trojan from npdor.com

I was on some news site when I saw this ad inviting me to join in on "Surveys" about everything. Thought about it and decided to sign up. Filled out the email info and next thing I received not only the first "Survey" request but several SPAM emails with it. (gmail addy through thunderbird email)
But then Kaspersky alerted to this .........
Trojan-Downloader.JS.agent.guq
First Kapersky highlighted "Delete the Malicious Malware" (recommended) but then said it could not delete it followed by the next recommendation "Ignore".
I was upset but remained calm. Searched online about the Trojan but seemed there were several offerings of removal tools etc. I didn't want to ignore the Trojan so I took npdor.com off my Firefox cookies exception list. I then decided to use System Restore six days ago and it was successful. Checked the system registry for the Trojan but didn't find it but not sure if it is still in some thunderbird file. I'm thinking about doing a thunderbird Unistall and a new download.
Anyone know about this Trojan? Where should I search for it to delete it if it is still there? Any advice?
At this point I don't want to have anything to do with npdor.com
