Back with another CCleaner question

CCleaner is configured to clean out MS Search. There is a folder called Searches on my HD loaded with search items. Is the MS Search that CCleaner clears every night the same as the Searches folder? From what I understand, the Searches folder on the HD regenerates itself when there is deletion.

1. Make a copy of the Searches folder.
2. Run ccleaner (i.e. wait till it's next day).
3. Compare the copy of the Searches folder with the new situation.

If things have disappeared, ccleaner cleaned them.

CCleaner made no dent in the folder Searches, and that is why I asked if MS Search and Searches are one and the same......or if they are different folders.

I assume ccleaner reports what it has done. Did you ever see it reporting anything else than 0 for the cleaning results of MS Search?

I've occasionally run it on other machines than my own (I don't even have it installed, I'm still in doubt if I need it), so I can't check myself.

I assume Searches are the searches you define yourself (I've never used that feature either). Ccleaner shouldn't delete those.
If that's the case indeed, MS Search is something else. Some area with temp files or work files from MS Search.

If it isn't in the help of ccleaner or in the documentation on their site, it's a difficult question to answer for anybody else than their own programmers.
