I received the following email:

When more than one person is involved, we may need to confirm the name and address of each of you. If we are unable to verify your identity electronically, we will ask you to provide some original documents containing your name and address. When applying online you will be told during the identification process which options are available to you. For your protection, transactions on your account may be limited until you are able to confirm your identity. The part that I underlined about calling the phone number on the back of the debit card confused me. Everything else smelled of "phish". From the beginning I felt that this was a Phishing scam because I do not have an account with Chase, but if I had had an account I might have been tempted to call the number. So what do you think?
