A Trojan horse has been discovered which preys on visitors to hardcore adult websites ... and may snare inncoent vitims!

The Troj/Delf-IT Trojan horse lurks in the background on infected PCs, waiting for the user to visit webpages which contain one of various adult phrases in their title. If the Trojan horse determines you are visiting a hardcore website it then downloads code which redirects the browser to another pornographic site.

Thanks to Sophos for catching this Trojan.

The Trojan horse contains over 50 trigger phrases or words it searches for. When one is found it activates the re-direct code. So far it has spread slowly.

The danger is that innocent Internet browsers, including children, may visit non-pornopgraphic web sites that innocently contain phrases that trigger the redirect code.

The best solution for this and other problems is to maintain a good anti-virus program and diligently keep it updated on a regular (if not daily) basis.
