Possibly...Check For MS Radio

program on the computer ( part of Int.Explorer) running in the background likely w/ volume set to high.

From Guide:"To play a radio station using the Media bar

In Internet Explorer, click Media on the toolbar to open the Media bar.
On the Media options menu in the Media bar, click Radio Guide.
Select the radio station that you want to listen to, and then click Play." Make sure to stop playing.

May also come thru MSN explorer & possible via MSN messenger?

OR possibly a very cheap unshielded cable connected to machine might
be picking up off the air a nearby radio/TV Audio signal transmission.
This used to happen w/stereo turntables catching Taxi & SSBand CB radio transmissions & even nearby Baby Monitors.

I have the same issue! It's not a radio station, because they seem to repeat over and over again in a rotation. Meryl Streep interviews, book readings, political messages, sometimes even foreign languages. It's driving me nuts!

Generally I would suggest you start a thread of your own, since this one is two years old. But since I only have one suggestion, I may as well offer it here.

Go through all your add-ons and extensions. Disable them one by one. I think you may (or may not ) find one of them to be the culprit.
